Burgundy Sour Recipe
The Burgundy Sour is a refreshing modern cocktail made in the traditional fashion. Made from cherry liqueur, whiskey, simple syrup, lemon juice and egg white, and served in a chilled cocktail glass.
Ingredients
- 1-1/2 oz Whiskey
- 1/2 oz Cherry Brandy (Joseph Cartron Guignolet de Bourgogne)
- 2/3 oz Simple Syrup
- 2/3 oz Lemon Juice
- 1 Egg - white
- 1 Cherry - for garnish
- Garnish: Maraschino Cherry
- Glass: Cocktail Glass
Directions
- Shake all ingredients vigorously with ice in a cocktail shaker.
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
- Garnish with a maraschino cherry.
