Dia del Amor Recipe
The Dia del Amor is a spicy drink made from reposado tequila, St-Germain elderflower liqueur, lime juice and hot sauce, and served over ice in a chili and salt rimmed rocks glass.
Ingredients
- 1 oz Tequila - Gold
- 1/2 oz Elderflower Liqueur (St-Germain)
- 1/2 oz Lime Juice
- 2 dashes Tabasco Sauce
- Cayenne Pepper
- Chili Powder
- Salt
- Garnish: Lime
- Glass: Rocks Glass
Directions
- Wet the rim of a rocks glass by rubbing a lime over it, then dip into a mix of chili powder, sea salt and cayenne pepper.
- Shake the remaining ingredients with ice in a cocktail shaker.
- Add ice to the glass, then the drink into it.
- Garnish with a lime slice.
