La Seine Fizz Recipe
The La Seine Fizz is a complex cocktail perfect for a New Year's Eve party, or served as a wedding cocktail. Made from cognac, wild strawberry liqueur, lemon juice, orange bitters, strawberries, simple syrup, Grand Marnier and chilled champagne, and served in a chilled champagne flute.
Ingredients
- 1/2 oz Cognac
- 1 tbsp Wild Strawberry Liqueur - fraise de bois
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1 dash Orange Bitters
- 1 Strawberry - sliced
- Simple Syrup - to taste
- 1 tbsp Grand Marnier
- Champagne - chilled
- Mint - for garnish
- Garnish: Strawberry, Mint
- Glass: Champagne Glass
Directions
- Shake cognac, Grand Marnier, simple syrup, strawberry, orange bitters, wild strawberry liqueur and lemon juice with ice in a cocktail shaker.
- Strain into a chilled champagne flute and top with chilled champagne.
- Garnish with a strawberry and fresh mint.
