Root Beer Julep Recipe
The Root Beer Julep is a modern play on the classic Kentucky Derby drink: Mint Julep. Made from Smirnoff Root Beer vodka, bourbon, maple syrup and mint leaves, and served over crushed ice in a rocks glass.
Ingredients
- 1 oz Root Beer Vodka (Smirnoff Root Beer)
- 1/2 oz Bourbon
- 1 tbsp Maple Syrup
- 6-8 leaves Mint
- Garnish: Mint
- Glass: Rocks Glass
Directions
- Muddle the mint and maple syrup in the bottom of a rocks glass.
- Add crushed ice, bourbon and root beer vodka and stir slightly.
- Garnish with a sprig of mint.
