The Vieux Carre cocktail recipe is made from cognac, rye whiskey, dry vermouth, sweet vermouth, bitters and orange bitters, and served in a chilled cocktail glass.
Ingredients
- 2 oz Cognac
- 1 oz Whiskey - rye whiskey
- 1/2 oz Dry Vermouth
- 1/2 oz Sweet Vermouth
- dash Angostura Bitters
- dash Orange Bitters
- Lemon - peel, for garnish
- Garnish: Lemon
- Glass: Cocktail Glass
Directions
- Shake all ingredients well with ice in a cocktail shaker.
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
- Garnish with a lemon twist and serve.
