Black and Blue Mojito Recipe
What is black and blue, and red all over? The Black and Blue Mojito is a reddish colored drink recipe made from Don Q Limon rum, blueberries, blackberries, lime, mint, simple syrup and ginger ale, and served over ice in a highball glass.
Ingredients
- 1-3/4 oz Citrus Vodka (Don Q Limon)
- 7 Blueberry
- 5 Blackberry
- 1/2 Lime - cut into wedges
- 3 sprigs Mint - 1 for garnish
- 1/2 oz Simple Syrup
- Ginger Ale - to fill
- Garnish: Lime, Mint
- Glass: Highball Glass
Directions
- Muddle mint, blueberries, blackberries and lime wedges in the bottom of a cocktail shaker.
- Add rum, simple syrup and ice, and shake vigorously.
- Strain into a highball glass full of ice.
- Fill with ginger ale and stir gently.
- Garnish with lime and mint.
