Cafe Brulot Recipe
The Café Brulot is a gourmet drink recipe made form cognac, curacao, hot coffee, cinnamon, cloves, orange and lemon, and served in warm coffee glasses.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Cognac
- 2 oz Curacao - orange liqueur
- 32 oz Coffee - hot
- 12 Clove
- 2 sticks Cinnamon
- 2 Lemon - peels
- 2 Orange - sliced
- 8 cubes Sugar
- Garnish: Lemon, Orange
- Glass: Coffee Mug
Directions
- Add lemon peels, orange peels, sugar, cloves and cinnamon, and muddle everything until the aromas are fully released.
- Add cognac and curacao, and stir again.
- Carefully ignite the bowl, and stir in coffee gently until the flames are out.
- Serve in warm mugs.
