Culebra Recipe
The Culebra cocktail is a brown colored drink recipe made from Luxardo amaretto, lime juice, mint, Coca-Cola and bitters, and served over ice in a highball glass garnished with a stalk of sugar cane.
Ingredients
- 1-1/2 oz Amaretto (Luxardo Amaretto di Saschira)
- 1/2 oz Lime Juice
- 2 dashes Bitters
- stick Sugar Cane - for garnish
- 2 sprig Mint - 1 for garnish
- Cola (Coca-Cola) - to fill
- Garnish: Sugar Cane, Mint
- Glass: Highball Glass
Directions
- Muddle mint in the bottom of a highball glass, then fill with ice.
- Add amaretto, lime juice and bitters, then fill with Coke and stir.
- Garnish with a sprig of mint and a piece of sugar cane.
