Espolon Margarita Recipe
The Espolon Margarita is a slight variation of the classic Margarita cocktail, perfect for Cinco de Mayo, or any other occasion. Made from Espolon reposado tequila, lime juice and agave nectar, and served in a salt-rimmed margarita glass.
Ingredients
- 3 oz Tequila - Gold (Espolon Reposado)
- 2 oz Lime Juice
- 1 oz Agave Nectar
- 1 slice Lime - for garnish
- Salt - to rim glass
- Garnish: Salt, Lime
- Glass: Margarita Glass
Directions
- Rub the lime slice over the rim of a chilled margarita glass, then dip the glass into salt to coat the rim.
- Shake tequila, lime juice and agave nectar with ice in a cocktail shaker for 10 seconds.
- Strain into the prepared glass and garnish with the lime slice.
