Summer Rye Recipe
The Summer Rye is an orange colored drink made from rye whiskey, St-Germain elderflower liqueur, simple syrup, lemon juice, apple juice and champagne, and served over ice in a highball glass.
Ingredients
- 1-1/2 oz Scotch Whiskey
- 1/2 oz Elderflower Liqueur (St-Germain)
- 1 tsp Simple Syrup
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 2 oz Apple Juice
- Champagne - to top
- Garnish: Apple
- Glass: Highball Glass
Directions
- Shake all ingredients, except champagne, with ice in a cocktail shaker.
- Strain into a highball glass full of ice.
- Top with chilled champagne, and garnish with apple cubes.
