The Rooster Recipe
The Rooster is a rough and ready drink made from Wild Turkey bourbon, cinnamon schnapps and root beer, and served over ice in a highball glass.
Ingredients
- 1-1/2 oz Bourbon (Wild Turkey)
- 1/2 oz Cinnamon Schnapps
- Root Beer (Sarsaparilla)
- Salt - to rim the glass
- Garnish: Salt
- Glass: Highball Glass
Directions
- Dip the rim of a chilled highball glass into salt to coat the rim.
- Fill the glass with ice, then add Wild Turkey and cinnamon schnapps.
- Fill with root beer and serve.
