Bootsy Collins Recipe
Named for the famous musician, the Bootsy Collins is a funky drink recipe made from Don Q Limon citrus rum, white rum, elderflower liqueur, cinnamon syrup, lemon juice and club soda, and served over ice in a highball glass.
Ingredients
- 1 oz Citrus Rum (Don Q Limon)
- 1 oz White Rum (Don Q)
- 1/2 oz Elderflower Liqueur (St-Germain)
- 3/4 oz Lemon Juice
- 1/2 oz Cinnamon Syrup
- Club Soda - to fill
- Lemon - peel, for garnish
- Garnish: Lemon
- Glass: Highball Glass
Directions
- Shake rum, citrus rum, elderflower liqueur, lemon juice and cinnamon syrup with ice in a cocktail shaker.
- Strain into a highball glass packed with ice and fill with club soda.
- Stir gently and garnish with a lemon twist.
