Cloud Nine Recipe
Nothing better than floating on cloud nine thanks to your lover, pay them back with a great drink this Valentine's Day. The Cloud Nine cocktail recipe is made from Flor de Cana rum, sake, pineapple juice, lime juice, orange juice, pomegranate syrup and ginger, and served over ice in a highball glass.
Ingredients
- 2 oz Dark Rum (Flor de Cana)
- 2 oz Sake
- 3 sprigs Mint
- pinch Ginger
- 1/2 Lime - juiced
- dash Pomegranate Syrup
- splash Orange Juice
- splash Pineapple Juice
- Lime - peel, for garnish
- Garnish: Lime
- Glass: Highball Glass
Directions
- Muddle ginger, mint and lime juice in the bottom of a cocktail shaker.
- Fill a highball glass with ice, then add pomegranate syrup.
- Strain into the highball glass, then add rum, sake, orange juice and pineapple juice.
- Stir gently and garnish with a lime twist.
