Independence Swizzle Recipe
The Independence Swizzle is a classic 4th of July cocktail recipe made from dark rum, lime juice, honey and bitters, and served over ice in a rocks glass garnished with a lime slice.
Ingredients
- 2 oz Dark Rum
- 1-1/2 oz Lime Juice
- 1 tsp Honey
- 3-5 dashes Angostura Bitters
- slice Lime - for garnish
- Garnish: Lime
- Glass: Rocks Glass
Directions
- Shake all ingredients well with ice in a cocktail shaker.
- Strain into a rocks glass full of crushed ice.
- Garnish with a slice of lime and serve.
