Irish in California Recipe
The Irish in California drink recipe is made from Irish whiskey, maraschino liqueur, lemon juice, vanilla syrup, orange and ginger ale, and served over ice in a sling glass garnished with an orange slice and a maraschino cherry.
Ingredients
- 1-1/4 oz Irish Whiskey
- 1 tsp Maraschino Liqueur
- 1/2 oz Lemon Juice
- 1/2 oz Vanilla Syrup
- 1 tsp Cherry Juice
- 1/2 Orange - cut into wedges
- Cherry - for garnish
- Ginger Ale - to top
- Garnish: Maraschino Cherry, Orange
- Glass: Sling Glass
Directions
- Muddle orange wedges in the bottom of a cocktail shaker, then remove half of the wedges.
- Add ice and the remaining ingredients, and shake well.
- Strain into a sling glass full of crushed ice and top with ginger ale.
- Garnish with an orange slice and a maraschino cherry.
