Liberty Bell Recipe
Happy Fourth of July! The Liberty Bell is a celebration all of the good that has come from America, and all the good folks that have gone there. A red cocktail made from Scotch whiskey, sloe gin, apricot liqueur and bitters, and served in a chilled cocktail glass.
Ingredients
- 1 oz Scotch Whiskey
- 1 oz Sloe Gin (The Bitter Truth)
- 1 oz Apricot Brandy (The Bitter Truth)
- 3 dashes Bitters (Jerry Thomas' Own Decanter Bitters)
- slice Apricot - for garnish
- Currant Berries - for garnish
- Garnish: Apricot, Redcurrant
- Glass: Cocktail Glass
Directions
- Stir all ingredients with ice in a mixing glass.
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
- Garnish with an apricot slice and red currant berries.
