New Yorker Recipe
The New Yorker is a classic drink made from Scotch whiskey, lime juice, sugar and lemon zest, and served over ice in a rocks glass.
Ingredients
- 1-1/2 oz Scotch Whiskey
- 1 tsp Lime Juice
- 1 tsp Sugar - confectioner's or table sugar
- Lemon - zest
- Garnish: Lemon
- Glass: Rocks Glass
Directions
- Shake Scotch, lime juice and sugar with ice in a cocktail shaker.
- Strain into a rocks glass full of ice.
- Top with freshly grated lemon zest, then garnish with a lemon twist.
