Ritz Old-fashioned Recipe
The Ritz Old-fashioned is a classic drink made form bourbon, Grand Marnier orange liqueur, lemon juice, bitters, egg white and sugar, and served in a sugar-rimmed old-fashioned glass.
Ingredients
- 1-1/2 oz Bourbon
- 1 tbsp Grand Marnier - orange liqueur
- 1 dash Lemon Juice
- 1 dash Angostura Bitters
- 1 Egg - white, beaten
- Sugar - superfine
- 1 slice Orange - for garnish
- 1 Cherry - for garnish
- Garnish: Orange, Maraschino Cherry
- Glass: Rocks Glass
Directions
- Dip the rim of an old-fashioned glass in egg white, then sugar to coat the rim, and fill with ice.
- Shake the bourbon, Grand Marnier, lemon juice and bitters with ice in a cocktail shaker, then strain into the glass.
- Garnish with an orange slice and a maraschino cherry.
