Strawberry Jim Margarita Recipe
The Strawberry Jim Margarita is an exciting red cocktail made from El Jimador tequila, strawberry puree, sour mix and Sprite, and served over ice in a salt-rimmed margarita glass.
Ingredients
- 1-1/2 oz Tequila - Gold (El Jimador Reposado)
- 1 oz Strawberry Puree - or strawberry syrup
- 2 oz Sour Mix
- splash Lemon-lime Soda (Sprite)
- wedge Lime
- Salt
- Garnish: Lime, Salt
- Glass: Margarita Glass
Directions
- Wet the rim of a chilled margarita glass by rubbing a lime wedge over top, then dip the glass into salt to coat the rim.
- Shake tequila, strawberry puree (or syrup) and sour mix with ice in a cocktail shaker, then pour into the glass.
- Top with a splash of Sprite, and garnish with a lime wedge.
