The Classic's Classic cocktail is made form Grand Marnier, chilled champagne, a sugar cube and bitters, and served in a chilled champagne flute.
Ingredients
- 1/2 oz Grand Marnier - orange liqueur
- 1 cube Sugar
- 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
- Champagne - chilled, to top
- Garnish: Orange
- Glass: Champagne Glass
Directions
- Add a sugar cube to a chilled champagne flute, and cover with bitters, then let it sit for a few minutes.
- Add Grand Marnier and fill with chilled champagne.
- Garnish with an orange twist.
