The Old Fashioned 101 is a classic American cocktail made from Wild Turkey bourbon, apple cider, sage, saffron, brown sugar and orange, and served over ice in a rocks glass.
Ingredients
- 1-1/3 oz Bourbon (Wild Turkey)
- 1/2 oz Apple Cider
- 3 leaves Sage
- pinch Saffron
- 1 tsp Brown Sugar
- squeeze Orange Juice
- Garnish: Sage, Orange
- Glass: Rocks Glass
Directions
- Muddle sage, saffron, brown sugar and orange juice in a rocks glass.
- Add ice, Wild Turkey and apple cider and stir gently.
- Garnish with a sage leaf and an orange twist.
