Audubon Park Swizzle Recipe
The Audubon Park Swizzle is a relaxing orange summer drink made from aged rum, Mezcal, demerara simple syrup, lime juice, Creole bitters and mint, and served over ice in a rocks glass.
Ingredients
- 1-1/2 oz Dark Rum (Appleton Reserve 12 year)
- 1/2 oz Mezcal (Del Maguey Chichicapa)
- 3/4 oz Lime Juice
- 4 dashes Bitters (The Bitter Truth Creole)
- 6 leaves Mint
- 1 oz Simple Syrup (Demerara simple syrup)
- Garnish: Mint
- Glass: Rocks Glass
Directions
- Muddle mint, demerara, rum and lime juice in a mixing glass.
- Strain into a rocks glass full of ice, then add Creole bitters and float Mezcal on top.
- Garnish with a sprig of mint.
