Dutch Stories Recipe
The Dutch people have a long and interesting history to be enjoyed by all. Start out with some Dutch Stories, an orange colored cocktail recipe made from genever, apricot brandy, maraschino liqueur, lemon juice and gooseberry jam, and served in a chilled cocktail glass.
Ingredients
- 1-1/2 oz Genever
- 3/4 oz Apricot Brandy (Luxardo)
- 1/4 oz Maraschino Liqueur (Luxardo)
- 1/2 oz Lemon Juice
- 1 tbsp Jelly or Jam - gooseberry jam
- Physalis/Gooseberry - for garnish
- bunch Red Currant - for garnish
- Garnish: Physalis, Redcurrant
- Glass: Cocktail Glass
Directions
- Shake genever, apricot brandy, maraschino liqueur, lemon juice and gooseberry brandy vigorously with ice in a cocktail shaker.
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
- Garnish with a gooseberry and red currant berries.
