Water Ship Down Recipe
The Water Ship Down cocktail recipe combines the Caribbean flavors with those of North America and the Old World to create a unique drink perfect for sophisticated palates. Made from Flor de Cana rum, Domain de Canton ginger liqueur, pear brandy, prosecco, ginger, apple juice and lemon juice, and served in a chilled cocktail glass.
Ingredients
- 1-1/2 oz Dark Rum (Flor de Cana)
- 3/4 oz Ginger Liqueur (Domain de Canton)
- 1/2 oz Pear Brandy
- 1 oz Apple Juice
- 1/2 oz Lemon Juice
- pinch Ginger
- splash Prosecco
- 2 slices Pear
- Garnish: Pear
- Glass: Cocktail Glass
Directions
- Muddle ginger in the bottom of a cocktail shaker, then add ice, rum, ginger liqueur, apple and lemon juice and pear brandy.
- Shake well and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
- Top with a splash of prosecco and garnish with pear slices.
