Cobalt Margarita Recipe
The Cobalt Margarita is a blue colored Cinco de Mayo cocktail made from tequila, Cointreau orange liqueur, blue curacao, lime juice and grapefruit juice, and served in a salt-rimmed cocktail glass.
Ingredients
- 1-1/2 oz Tequila - Silver
- 2 tsp Cointreau - orange liqueur
- 1/2 oz Blue Curacao
- 3/4 oz Lime Juice
- 3/4 oz Grapefruit Juice
- Salt - to rim glass
- Garnish: Salt, Lime
- Glass: Cocktail Glass
Directions
- Wet the rim of a chilled margarita glass, then dip into sea salt to coat the rim.
- Shake tequila, Cointreau, blue curacao, lime juice and grapefruit juice with ice in a cocktail shaker, then strain into the glass.
- Garnish with a lime twist.
