Havana Beach Recipe
Maybe one day we can all enjoy a free Cuba, and the beautiful beaches they offer. In the mean time, enjoy a Havana Beach drink, in honor of the pour souls trapped in the island prison. Made from white rum, pineapple juice and ginger ale, the Havana Beach is served in a hurricane glass.
Ingredients
- 1 oz White Rum
- 2 oz Pineapple Juice
- 1/2 Lime - peel if desired
- 1 tsp Sugar
- Ginger Ale - to top
- Garnish: Lime
- Glass: Hurricane Glass
Directions
- Blend all ingredients, except the ginger ale, until smooth in a food processor or blender.
- Pour into a frosted hurricane glass and top with ginger ale.
- Garnish with a lime wheel.
