Alice Springs Recipe
The Alice Springs drink is made from gin, grenadine, orange juice, lemon juice, bitters and club soda, and served over crushed ice in a highball glass. Although the origins of the drink are obscure, one could reasonably assume that it had something to do with Alice Springs, Australia.
Ingredients
- 1-1/2 oz Gin
- 1/2 oz Lemon Juice
- 1/2 oz Orange Juice
- 1/2 tsp Grenadine
- 2 drops Angostura Bitters
- Club Soda - to fill
- 1 slice Orange
- Garnish: Orange
- Glass: Highball Glass
Directions
- Shake gin, grenadine, orange juice, lemon juice and bitters with ice in a cocktail shaker.
- Strain into a highball glass full of ice and top with club soda.
- Garnish with an orange slice.
