Cherry Julep Recipe
The Cherry Julep is a fruity variation of the classic Mint Julep drink, perfect for an Easter or spring brunch. Made from gin, sloe gin, cherry brandy, grenadine, simple syrup, club soda and lemon juice, and served over crushed ice in a highball glass.
Ingredients
- 1/2 oz Gin
- 1/2 oz Sloe Gin
- 1/2 oz Cherry Brandy
- 1 tsp Grenadine
- 1 tsp Simple Syrup
- 1 oz Lemon Juice
- Club Soda - to fill
- Garnish: Lemon
- Glass: Highball Glass
Directions
- Shake gin, sloe gin, cherry brandy, grenadine, lemon juice and simple syrup with ice in a cocktail shaker.
- Strain into a highball glass full of crushed ice and top with club soda.
- Garnish with a lemon twist.
