Italian Aviation Recipe
The Italian Aviation is a variation of the classic Aviation cocktail recipe. Made from Luxardo gin, maraschino liqueur, violet liqueur and lemon juice, and served in a chilled cocktail glass garnished with a lemon peel and maraschino cherry.
Ingredients
- 2 oz Gin (Luxardo)
- 1 tbsp Maraschino Liqueur
- 1/2 tbsp Violet Liqueur
- 1/2 oz Lemon Juice
- Lemon - peel, for garnish
- Cherry - for garnish
- Garnish: Maraschino Cherry, Lemon
- Glass: Cocktail Glass
Directions
- Shake gin, maraschino liqueur and lemon juice with ice in a cocktail shaker.
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and slowly add violet liqueur.
- Garnish with a lemon peel and a maraschino liqueur.
