New Year's Fizz Recipe
The New Year's Fizz is likely one of the best New Year's Eve drink recipes. Made from Wenneker Mandarin orange liqueur, gin, prosecco, lime juice, ginger juice, ginger syrup, egg white, basil and pineapple, and served over ice in a highball glass garnished with pineapple and basil.
Ingredients
- 1-1/2 oz Gin
- 1/2 oz Orange Liqueur (Wenneker Mandarin)
- 3/4 oz Lime Juice
- 3/4 oz Ginger Juice
- 1 tbsp Ginger Syrup
- 4 leaves Basil - 2 for garnish
- 1 Egg - white
- 3 chunks Pineapple
- Prosecco - to top
- Garnish: Pineapple, Basil
- Glass: Highball Glass
Directions
- Muddle pineapple, basil and ginger syrup in the bottom of a cocktail shaker.
- Add ice and the remaining ingredients, except prosecco, and shake vigorously.
- Strain into a highball glass packed full of crushed ice.
- Fill with prosecco and garish with pineapple and basil.
