Suffering Bastard Recipe
When all else fails to cheer up your buddy, get them a good strong cocktail. The Suffering Bastard drink recipe id made from gin, brandy, lime juice, bitters, simple syrup, ginger ale, cucumber and mint, and served over ice in a Collins glass.
Ingredients
- 2 oz Gin
- 1-1/2 oz Brandy
- 1/2 oz Lime Juice
- 1 tbsp Angostura Bitters
- 1 tsp Simple Syrup
- Ginger Ale
- slice Cucumber - for garnish
- sprig Mint - for garnish
- slice Lime - for garnish
- Garnish: Cucumber, Mint, Lime
- Glass: Collins Glass
Directions
- Add bitters to a chilled Collins glass and swirl around until the inside is coated, and discard excess bitters.
- Fill the glass with ice, then add gin, brandy, simple syrup and lime juice.
- Fill with ginger ale and stir gently.
- Garnish with mint, cucumber and lime, and serve.
