Italian Martinez Recipe
The Martinez is a classic cocktail recipe, and the Italian Martinez follows its tradition, but uses only Italian ingredients. Made from Luxardo gin, sweet vermouth, maraschino liqueur and bitters, and served in a chilled cocktail glass garnished with a lemon twist and an olive.
Ingredients
- 1 oz Gin (Luxardo)
- 2 oz Sweet Vermouth
- 2 dashes Maraschino Liqueur
- dash Bitters
- Lemon - peel, for garnish
- Olive - for garnish
- Garnish: Olive, Lemon
- Glass: Cocktail Glass
Directions
- Stir gin, sweet vermouth, maraschino liqueur and bitters with ice in a mixing glass.
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
- Garnish with an olive and a lemon twist.
