Salad Sour Recipe
The Salad Sour cocktail recipe is a garden salad in a glass, made from gin, maraschino liqueur, lemon juice, simple syrup, egg white, cucumber and bitters, and served in a chilled cocktail glass garnished with a maraschino cherry and cucumber slice.
Ingredients
- 1-1/4 oz Gin
- 1/2 oz Maraschino Liqueur
- 3/4 oz Lemon Juice
- 1/2 oz Simple Syrup
- 1 Egg - white
- 8 slices Cucumber - 1 for garnish
- 1 dash Bitters
- 1 Cherry - for garnish
- Garnish: Cucumber, Maraschino Cherry
- Glass: Cocktail Glass
Directions
- Muddle cucumbers, bitters and simple syrup in the bottom of a cocktail shaker.
- Add ice and the remaining ingredients and shake vigorously.
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with a cucumber slice and a maraschino cherry.
