The Gin and Tonic is a classic drink made famous by the British troops stationed in India during the 1800's. The drink came about by the soldiers mixing their gin ration with their anti-malarial quinine and water, to make the medicine more palatable. This variation is made from gin, lemon bitters and tonic water, and served over ice in a collins glass.
